Munich, Thuringian and Bockwurst are gone, so no more Southern Delegates can be offered. Bockwurst was also part of the Colourful Plate B. We still offer this one, but now replace Bockwurst with a mini salami.

At this time, we have one (1) Munich sausage left, so the next person ordering either Southern Delegates or Colourful Plate will be the last one able to do so. There are however alternatives:

If you like to eat Southern Delegates, you can now choose if you would like to replace the Munich sausage with either two mutton sausages or with mini salamis. Mini salami is eaten cold and was designed as a beer snack, mutton sausage will be roasted.

And if you long for the Colourful Plate, may I introduce "Colourful Plate B" to you? The original Colourful Plate could not hold all sausages we offer, there are three kinds you did not see on it: Bratwurst, Bockwurst, cheese sausage. These three, flanked by two mutton sausages, are "Colourful Plate B". This is not exactly new, some people have eaten it already, but we never announced it before.

Sorry, but we have to take a break for a while, and we do not yet know when we will be back. For this reason, we need to clear our stock, so from today these offers stand:

- Second dish for half the price: For every two guests eating here, the cheaper of their two main dishes will only cost half of the original price.

- All beer is 25% off if you ordered a main dish.

If we run out of any kind of sausage, it will not be restocked. What is gone - is gone. So if you are interested in a certain kind of sausage, you better move fast.

08/08 is Father's Day in Taiwan, so starting 08/01 until 08/10 Mal anders has a few special offers:

• If your bill is NT$880 or higher (after discount; you can use student, amateur radio or other rebates), you get a free dessert of your choosing.
• If you order at least two bottles of beer, you get two free beer bite mini salamis to it.
• If you are a father, you can order the Father Special: A bratwurst, a bockwurst, a cheese sausage, three potato dumplings, a small (330ml) beer and a dessert. This is not usually available, only now, and would be NT$660, but you can get it for only NT$528! Remember: This is only for fathers, so do not forget your daughter or son! (Please observe that this is a discount already and no further rebates can be applied.)

I just modified the rebate article to include a rebate for radio amateurs. Yes, we hams are an endangered species, we need rebates.

The disadvantage of importing something over a distance of more than 9000km is that there is a certain delay in response. It appears that recently there has been a larger-than-usual demand for King Ludwig beer in Taiwan, so the Taiwan stock is gone and the next delivery is expected for the end of July.

Here at Mal anders there are currently two bottles left.

You may have noticed that more people than usual are currently kicking balls in South Africa, they call it the Football World Cup. Apparently, the German team has managed to stay afloat so far, and rumour says they may even be able to receive that large golden vase that all people are kicking for.

Since we feel the obligation to show some sign of patriotism (or at least to pretend to), Mal anders is going to offer a discount, not on golden vases but on bottles and cans. In contrast to that golden vase our bottles and cans will not be empty, but filled with genuine German beer.

So this is the deal: Should Germany win the World Cup, all our beer will be 30% off for three days, from 2010-07-15 to 2010-07-17. Should they fail to carry that vase home - well, life goes on, and Mal anders still has a few nice offers...

Finally the new site is done. There are still things that can be improved, and some things may be added later, but all this is pretty convenient now with the new CMS. (For those interested in technical details: The site runs on eZ Publish now.) So I hope that the new site will be more helpful in introducing our offers and in letting you find what you may be searching for.
